Severe weather
The Meteorological
Office (external link) has an important role issuing severe
weather warnings. They warn the local community about severe or
hazardous weather that has the potential to cause widespread
disruption. They advise on probable locations and duration of
severe weather patterns. Severe weather warnings will come to you
via television, local radio (external
link) or by word of mouth.

difficult to access some properties. If collections are not
possible, please put your refuse/recycling out on your next
scheduled collection date. Any excess waste or recycling will be
collected on that day.
